NEWS!
2009 Annual Convention Schedule Released
Preparations are well under way for the June 12-14 NGGA convention and auction. This year's annual gathering is shaping up to be one of the best in recent years.
Glass collectors from across the country converge on Greentown for the three-day event each June. This is a don't miss weekend!
Friday kicks off with a presentation by the esteemed Jim Measell and the much-anticipated annual auction, featuring both beginning collector's pieces and one-of-a-kind items.
On Saturday, enjoy the Show & Sell event and enter your treasures in the Glass Exhibit competition. This year's divisions are
Chocolate, Golden Agate, Novelty/Whimsey, Table Set and Open. What's in your display case?
Also present at Saturday's events will be our own lovingly restored side arm glass press and a Cactus cruet mould on loan from Fenton Art Glass.
Saturday is capped off with a wonderful evening of food, entertainment and a business meeting featuring officer elections and announcement of Glass Exhibit winners.
Sunday, members may enjoy the annual shard dig. This is always a great time.

We have added a recent finds page
for members to contribute photos and stories of new pieces of Greentown glass
that have come to light at auctions, estate sales, garages sales, antique shops
& shows, or flea markets. This wonderful glass is still waiting out there, all
over the world, to be discovered and collected by those who want to help
preserve this treasure of the past.
